Group Chief Financial Officer - Jumbo Groenewegen - BIH


Our Client, Groep Jumbo Groenwegen B.V,an international designer and manufacturer of trailers and semi-trailers for haulage is present in the region with intensively growing business operations. Their daughter company BME d.o.o. located in Tesanj (BiH) is specialized in the production of components and steel structures according to customers' specifications.
For further development of their global operations, we are searching for an internationally experienced leader of their finance operations for the position of

Group Chief Financial Officer
- Tešanj, Bosna and Herzegovina -


  • university degree in Economics or other finance related field
  • extensive experience in manufacturing environmentand Work in Progress approach 
  • proven experience in managerial position within Financial Department
  • strong knowledge of statutory and management reporting and transfer prices
  • experience in strategy development and change management, while exposure to international projects will be considered as advantage
  • people and project management experience and deep understanding of internal functioning of corporate structures
  • strong business acumen, fluency in English andPC literacyare prerequisites, while SAP experience is appreciated
  • a strategic thinker with strong people orientation, dynamism and energy
  • a result driven leader with exceptional analytical, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work and live in Tešanj (Bosnia and Herzegovina)


  • overall management of the financial activity of the local company and on a group level, setting budgets, strategy and planning
  • management of principal financial functions 
  • regular reporting to group board of directors
  • ensure compliance with accounting, financial and fiscal regulations and with international accounting standards as well as with group reporting and accounting rules
  • preparation of monthly and annual statutory reports
  • lead, support, coach, motivate and develop the team of direct and indirect subordinates
  • continuous analysis and challenging of processes and projects, control of plans vs. present financial metrics and ensure further improvement of performance and results
  • liaison with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders
  • management of all tax related issues and responsibility for transfer price procedures and cost of production
